It is time for a give-a-way for my new quilt book "Simply Triangles". What do you have to do to be with a chance of winning this book? Go to http://quiltingal.blogspot.com/
Dad and Mom (Cline) have made apple butter a family tradition throughout the years.
Dad's shed makes a wonderful place for this family gathering. We can play corn-whole...
stay warm...
even when it is snowing. Pam is bringing us more apples.
Christian taking a nap while....
others work.
Cousins always like to play games.
Who could Rebecca be texting with that smirk on her face?
Time for the men folks to get a bite to eat. Mom always serves her wonderful vegetable soup.
Kelsy and Autumn having fun.
Time to take off the apple butter.
The older crew with the finished product.
The younger crew having a ball.
The children had a barn party. Autumn and Melissa dressed up as Thing I and Thing II who are the characters in a Dr. Seuss book.
Benjamin dressed up as a smurf.
Rebecca dressed up as a bubble gum machine.

What fun I had on Saturday. I was privileged to do a fundraiser for the Virginia Quilt Museum.
Folks could meander through the house visiting all rooms where quilts were on display.
Pinwheel Spin
Whirling Stars
Quilts in hallways,
back porch,
walls,
bedrooms
and even in bathrooms.
Explosion of Sunflowers was displayed on the front of the wood shed.
Power Play was on the clothes line.
Glowing Splendor was on the front porch.
Sawtooth Digest
and Star Shuffle were in a tree.
And this is what you saw when you came in our back door.
My back door is always my front door where my family and friends are always welcome. I didn't show you all the quilts but maybe I can do another open house some day. My dear husband parked cars and made people feel welcome and directed them where to go. This is posted on xanga but I am changing my blog to http://quiltingal.blogspot.com/ .
